Our Story

 

Born in Kirikiriroa (Hamilton), Māreikura is a celebration of Aotearoa’s natural beauty and divine energy. Our handcrafted body oils, home accessories, and wellness offerings are inspired by Māori atua wāhine (goddesses), with each scent thoughtfully matched to evoke the essence of a specific deity and the landscapes they represent.​

 

At the heart of our body oils is kawakawa, a native healing plant renowned for its soothing properties and suitability for all skin types. Whether you're drawn to earthy, floral, or fresh notes, our blends are designed to help you feel grounded, radiant, and connected - like a goddess, or a Māreikura: a noble, magical being.

While our inspiration comes from divine femininity, many of our scents are unisex - made for anyone who seeks to reconnect with nature and themselves.
